The climax of the summer visit from Kuk Sa Nim and the visiting masters is always the European Championships which is the biggest event on the Kuk Sool calendar outside of Korea and the U.S. This year it was held at Kings Lynn for the second year in a row and was another success, congratulations to SBN Darren and JKN Elaine for another great job organising.

As far as the club is concerned, it was our biggest success yet with all competitors winning medals. Something I am very proud of as it shows the students are well balanced and strong in all aspects of Kuk Sool. Here is a breakdown of what was won:

JKN Phil: 1 Gold and 1 Copper
Sal: 1 Gold and 2 Silver
Tony: 1 Silver and 2 Copper
Lori: 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze

The evenings Master's Exhibition was fantastic as ever with some different things on display. We also had a rare visit from JDKJN Richard Roper who I had the pleasure of attacking with a sword, I didn't come away too well from the encounter though!
